From the supplier: Food producers are developing pasta-based snacks and cereals that have new shapes and textures. Fried pasta shapes have approximately half the fat of potato chips. Pasta snacks that are puffed using a microwave or hot air are virtually fat-free. Pasta snacks can be made from grain, corn or potato. These snacks can be marketed as health foods, salty snacks, high-fiber multigrain snacks or chocolate-covered pellets.
